Use this external power supply unit to add power redundancy to IONIC 16 and IONIC 24stageboxes. If an IONIC’s internal power supply unit loses its source or malfunctions for whatever reason, the redundant unit will pick things up and the stagebox will continue to function smoothly.


IONIC stageboxes can also be powered using only the external power supply unit, without connecting the AC inlet to the internal power supply unit. This can sometimes work better when the stagebox is racked into travel cases or similar setups. (When only the external unit is used, IONIC’s status LED will flash white.)
