An exact replica of the U48, as made popular by the Beatles extensive use of this model at the legendary Abbey Road Studios. It comes equipped with a F47/49 capsule – an exact replica of K47/49 capsule, our replica of BV8 transformer, and EF12 The body is duraluminium and is nickel plated. The FLEA48 is available only in short body version with matte or nickel plated grille. The advantage of this microphone is figure 8 polar pattern which comes in handy to eliminate the excessive ambience of a room, something not possible with an omni polar pattern like, for instance, on the FLEA47 (or U47). The full set includes: the mic in wooden box, cable, shockmount, and power supply.
